PGA Tour Radio Host Bios

Taylor Zarzour hosts “The Starter” weekday mornings (7:00 am – 8:00 am) and shoulder programming around SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio’s coverage weekly as well as for golf’s major championships. Zarzour also serves as a play-by-play host for college football and baseball on the SEC Network. Based in Charlotte now, Zarzour also serves as a director of PGA TOUR Radio’s programming.

John Maginnes is Co-Host of PGA Tour Radio’s – “Katrek & Maginnes On Tap” (4:00 pm – 6:00 pm). John is a former PGA Tour player who spent more than a decade and a half playing professional golf. While recovering from elbow surgery in 2004 John was offered an opportunity as an on-course commentator by USA Network who covered Thursday and Friday rounds on the PGA Tour. With the microphone in hand, John found his second passion. John also does commentator work on PGA Tour Live broadcasts.

Brian Katrek is Co-Host of PGA Tour Radio’s – “Katrek & Maginnes On Tap”. Brian is an Emmy award winning broadcaster and is addicted to golf. He has hosted television, interactive, and radio play by play coverage of golf tournaments since 1999. The list includes all 4 major championships and both the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup. Brian too does commentator work on PGA Tour Live broadcasts.

Michael Breed is the host of “A New Breed of Golf” on SiriusXM (8:00 am – 10:00 am). He’s been an on-course reporter for Fox and Golf Channel and hosted “The Golf Fix” between 2008 and 2016. He’s been a PGA professional for over 20 years, serving most recently as the founder of the Michael Breed Golf Academy at Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point, where he is director of instruction. He’s been consistently ranked among the 50 Best Teachers in America and was the PGA’s National Teacher of the Year in 2012. He’s also worked with over 30 Tour pros throughout his career.

Greg Ducharme is Cost of PGA Tour Radio’s “A New Breed of Golf” with Michael Breed, as well as Co-Host of Course Record with Michael Breed on CBS Sports Network, Co-Host of The First Cut Podcast, Coach at the Michael Breed Golf Academy, and Golf Digest’s Best Young Teachers in America.

Carl Paulson is Co-host of PGA Tour Radio’s – “Inside the Ropes” (10:00 am – 12:00 pm). When Carl’s PGA Tour career came to a close, he joined SiriusXM in 2013 to announce live PGA Tour golf for PGA Tour Radio and PGA Tour LIVE. Carl’s playing experiences and his time spent behind the microphone calling virtually every event on the PGA TOUR led to his new career!

Dennis Paulson is Co-host of PGA Tour Radio’s – “Inside the Ropes” (10:00 am – 12:00 pm). A former PGA Tour member spent more than a decade and a half playing professional golf. He won the 2000 Buick Classic and played in 13 majors and multiple WGC events until a shoulder injury ended his playing career. In 2008, Dennis was asked to join Sirius/XM as an announcer doing live radio coverage of many PGA Tour events on Sirius/XM.

Colt Knost co-hosts “Gravy and the Sleaze” weekdays on SiriusXM (12:00 pm – 2:00 pm) with longtime friend and well-known amateur golfer and comedian Drew Stolz. Knost won the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Public Links championships in 2007 after a stellar collegiate career at SMU, turning pro then and winning over $5,000,000 during a 15-year pro career that he parlayed into his current job as an on-course reporter for CBS Sports’ coverage of the PGA TOUR. His professional highlight was a 3rd place finish in the 2016 PLAYERS Championship won by Jason Day. He led the RBC Heritage after 36 holes in 2012.

Drew Stoltz co-hosts “Gravy and the Sleaze” with Colt Knost weekdays on Sirius XM (12:00 pm – 2:00 pm). Drew Stoltz is a former semiprofessional golfer and self-proclaimed comedian. After forced retirement from semi-professional golf due to lacking enough talent to compete, he has become a bona-fide celebrity himself through his relationships with Arizona-based professionals and his on-air talent!
